Public transport access is non existent, plenty of stairs to go to the top but the view on a good day is very beautiful.

Very peaceful and beautiful temple area with graveyards to explore, if you climb up the steps behind the temple you get to one of the best city views too.

A beautiful and peaceful place. There are over 170 steps up to the temple, but there are lots to enjoy on the way up. A perfect way to start my morning.

I have been in Japan for a long time, so temples and shrines don't seem that unique anymore, but the Honmyoji temple complex is really nice. You can really get a feel for traditional Japanese temples here.
