A very beautiful structure from any view if u can see. There is also one secret place to see the structure close, visit the Kyoto Coffee and sit at the 2nd floor window.

Beautiful area, picturesque walk ways and brick lanes with an old town vibe. Lots of cool stores around but most importantly majestic views of the pagoda. Can get crowded. Get here early

This was one of the main areas that I wanted to visit on my trip and I must say it lived up to the hype. The tower was ancient but well maintained and stunning. The surrounding area was spectacular with its many alleys and old style buildings. It got busier as the day progressed; so I recommended going early if you want great photos.

Not that crowded. Great view, must visit. Arabica here is not crowded as well, so can still have a great view while sipping Kyoto Latte or Matcha Latte. Continue to visit Sannen-zaka path as well as the Hokanji-temple entrance. Recommended, a charming old Japan village.
