Amazingly constructed floats and video. Wish we could be here to see them during the festival

Reviews year before showed photos where you can go close to the floats, but now they just have a big hall hosting it that no one can enter. For observing from a distance and only 1 video to watch (without subtitles) 310 yen is somewhat expensive.

Local custom museum, with historical items displayed. Worth going and there are free parking. About 3 minutes drive from the castle.

A must visit museum in karatsu town, with history and the actual chariot of the festival on display.
