We recommend waking up @ 7/8 to go here for a quiet stroll along the river. Not many stalls were available during our visit tho maybe bec of the holidays / New Year. I enjoyed the grilled mochi, takoyaki & hot choco!

Visited first week of December on a Saturday morning and there were lots of stalls open. Really enjoyed wandering around and trying some of the foods. Worth a visit

Nice little street with shops lined up, food got a morning stroll. The best parts of the street were the small japanese snacks sold. Look out for the stall selling the square egg marshmallow thing. It was delicious!

Nice morning market to take a stroll, the stretch is about 100-150m long. Mostly souvenirs or local produce. I would say I’m mostly there for the stroll. The market closes at 12pm. There is a nice river by the side which you can get some photos in. Could see some people feeding the koi fishes too.

The morning market, where local producers sell various goods, some bonsai, some gardens, some handmade souvenirs. The market takes place in the street along the river. It works for a short time, about a couple of hours in the morning. What really attracts attention is that you can meet various and interesting people. Also in the same street there are constantly operating shops. If this street is passed and you still have time - you need to cross the street to the south side and there you will see the spirit of the old quarters with shops, Japanese snacks or traditional Japanese dishes and drinks. You can really have fun for the whole half day.
