One of the unique Ferris wheel I rode! This Ferris wheel start on the 7th floor of HEP Five mall, and goes all the way up, even higher than the mall's top floor! This is good to try at night, however I would recommend to arrive at around sunset. The view is nice and romantic!

I knew it was huge, but the immensity of this wheel was staggering. The base is on the 7th floor and the top is substantially higher. This gives 360° views of Osaka a d the surrounding terrain. It moves slowly, but constantly, so getting on and off requires timing and attention to staff directions. It was probably the next best thing to a helicopter and only costs ¥600 per ticket. Also, the carriages are quiet and climate controlled. If you have any doubts about your tolerance for heights, I would skip it. If you enjoy them, it's easily a major trip highlight.

Even though the weather was bad, I was still able to enjoy a great evening view of Osaka. You are allowed to go into the booth in your own group (max of 4) without to share with other people, which was great. A defo visit location if it's your first time to Osaka and especially if you have the Amazing Pass, which would allow you to go for free.

One of the most romantic and amazing thing we did in Japan! It's a short ride but the views are so spectacular at night, videos & photos can't do any justice to it. It's easy to get in and off & there was no wait. Just go for it, it is really affordable too!

At the top of the mall, follow the signs and elevators to the entrance. There’s a restroom before the entrance, highly recommend using before getting in line. It was about a 30 minute wait before getting on the Ferris wheel. The ride itself was about 15 minutes with great views of the city and the streets below. Easy to get to from the subway station or a short walk from Osaka station.
