We spent a weekend on Kouri Island and on our last morning, we woke up early and watched the sunrise at Heart Rock. What a beautiful beach! Go early and beat the crowds!

Heart Rock in Okinawa earns a commendable 4/5 rating. Its stunning location boasts two rock formations that, when joined, resemble a heart shape, adding a romantic touch to the scenery. However, to fully appreciate its beauty, it's best to visit during high tide when the rocks are submerged, enhancing the heart shape and overall charm of the spot. Despite this timing consideration, Heart Rock remains a must-see destination for nature lovers and couples alike, offering a picturesque setting for memorable moments and photos.

100 yen parking fee. The coffee at the coffee truck near by the parking was GREAT! The walk down to the rock takes around 5 mins. It was a pretty spot, even on a windy/cloudy day.

Beautiful scenic spot! We were able to get some beautiful pictures. There is plenty of parking. The walk down to the beach area is a gradual decline and slippery due to sand, be careful! We saw several people slipping. There is a place to buy icecream at the location.

This was a neat little trip and worth the 100 yen we paid for parking. Worth a visit if you’re in the area, but don’t make it a point to drive from a long distance just to visit. It’s literally a walk from the parking lot, down a path, to a very small beach where you can view the rocks. Not much else to it. Bring sandals, it’s sandy!
