The biggest shrine in Niigata city area. Hakusan Park is full of stamp spots and you can't help but feel like a child again. The green color and the ponds gives you peace. Koi fishes are so cute, but the pond was a little bit dirty. The shrine was big, it was my first Jinja visit and I was so nervous but there are so many people so I watched them before praying. There were also so many children and babies. I bought a omamori and the miko-san who helped me to buy it was so cute. I want to go there for again to see momiji.

Visited this place in early spring. Park has a shinto shrine as well a beautifully managed park. Lots of flowering plants and a architectural civic centre nearby (which you can access through the park). A nice place to be. Visit with family.

The park located right beside Hakusan shrine. We strolled around the park after visiting the shrine. It was soothing and calm with the beautiful plants and trees. There was also a pond which enhanced the entire experience. Many things to see around the park.

Went there to see the Autumn foliage and we did not fail to see. So relaxing seeing the vibrant colours of the leaves that changes every Autumn season. The people were not that much when we visited there so it's better. The place is maintained good . Japanese garden made there is also amazing. Highly recommend for you to visit this place especially autumn season ..

Such a nice park in the center of the city. Small play area for kids. Historic shrine is near by. Little bit crowded in the cherry blossom and festive season. Parking charge is reasonable. Lots of small shop and tasty food stall here in the festive season.
