An excellent museum for just 100 yen! They have interactive models to enhance understanding of water extraction used in Onsen. You’ll also find explanations about the latest minor eruptions in 2015. A spot where kids can enjoy coloring, plus a video explaining egg cooking and the labor of workers at Onsen water wells. A must-visit.

Cute and charming museum with a surprising amount of breadth. You can look through a polarized light microscope!
