This church is that of the Anglican Church founded by an English priest who visited Hakodate in 1874. The existing building was completed in 1979.

Fabulous and cozy church where we can find peace and get a little bit more happy. The view is absolutely fantastic, the architecture a bit too modern maybe but still interesting. An absolute 5 Star experience on a cold chilling winter day

Great! There is a sign outside of the church with its history.

It is a Protestant church which is quite casual. The famous Catholic Church is only 50 meters away. You can compare with it and see the difference.

2018.11 few of these bldg around.... U need to walk up hill to see it.   That is a minus.   Only 1 blk from ropeway.  And 5-10 min from red brick block.  Tram is 5.min from holidays train station
