This is another good place to view Fukuoka's sightseeing. No need to buy tickets.

🏙️ Hakata Port Tower offers a pleasant experience with its free entry and panoramic views of Fukuoka and the sea. While it's not a 'must-visit' landmark for short trips, given the city's many other attractions, it's worth a stop if time allows. The tower, easily spotted from a distance in Hakata, is not exactly a hidden gem but stands out with its iconic red structure. The surrounding area, with various shops & restaurants , adds to the appeal. A good choice for those seeking a more laid-back tourist spot. 🗼

The view was good. Not far from city center, you can take bus to go there. Not crowded and it's free entrance.

Free admission, so there is really no reason not to pop in if you are in the area. The tower is not particularly tall, but gives good views of the port area (270 degrees supposedly). The informational displays downstairs are also worth a quick look.

Entrance is free. You need to be there by 16:40 for the last entrance to able to go up the tower. You will have a nice view to the harbor and the city.
