Beautiful location and there were not many tourists... worth the walk to see this shrine!

They have special goshuins for each holiday and season! But you have to hurry cause they are only available for the day!

One of the nicest shrines in Beppu, Asami shrine is probably the most visited in the area, especially during the New Year season. During that season, and like most shrines, you can buy lucky charms (お守り) and get your fortune for the year (御神籤). Hot, sweet saké (甘酒) and coffee are also sold.
