It is a beautiful serene place, hidden behind a nice playground. There is a sign post explaining the history in multiple languages.

The grave of the 1st Shogun of the Kamakura period. In the past, this area had a mausoleum building standing here. There are some stones in the ground marking the front of the rain gutter. The only thing left is the pagoda.

Not much to see. Stone stairs leading to the grave of Minamoto Yoritomo. Just a small stone pagoda. On the side of the hill, in the woods.

The grave of Japan's first Shogun. A must for history geeks!

One of my favorite places to visit when I come to Kamakura. A place of historical significance that might not be that interesting to others.
