We visited in early Spring so it was quite cold (before cherry blossoms), but it was still a great place to visit. My son particularly enjoyed it as there was hardly anyone here and he got to ring a small bell for a 100 yen donation. Definitely worth the visit!

Excellent location to be at peace with your inner self. Take your time to slowly walk around the park and find some hidden gems you won't see in promotional materials. It was the middle of February 2023, the weather was cold but we were rewarded with an unobstructed view of Mount Fuji!

Peaceful park which is disturbed by bus loads of tourist at times. From this park you can see Mt Fuji on a clear day. So if it is a cloudy day, you will not be able to see Mount Fuji. It takes about 35mins to walk from Gotemba station. From this park, you can take bus outside the park to Gotemba premium outlets to do shopping.
