The most amazing of all the temples so far. Ask at the window to get you goshuin and your root stamp and they may let you into the temple. It is amazingly beautiful.

Beautiful temple next to Fudoin Astram monorail station 🚉 Gorgeous wooden temple gate with fierce guardian statues behind the mesh, main pavilion is another impressive structure made entirely of wood. Notice damage from wartime fire. Stone statues, red Pagoda, carp pond and inari (fox) shrine at the back of the property.

Very pretty location. The end of the cherry blossoms were still nice. The location was very nicely arranged. The return taxi was easily obtained even in the rain frin the busy road a few blocks away.

You can see Cherry blossom in spring . Peony , Rabbitear Iris and Satsuki in early summer.Hydrangea in rainy season, called 'Tsuyu', fresh green maple in summer. Of course you can enjoy red maple and Hagi in autumn.Camellia sasanqua and Flowering kale in winter. Especially I recommend backyard with beautiful Moss which is calm and well kept. You can enjoy at least an hour in great temple ' Fudoin '!
