鳳御門 in the last week

This visit will be on March 4, 2024. No matter what time you come (it's a weekday afternoon), this place is full of energy... It is an ideal shopping street that combines retro and new wave. It's a lively place with big content like Enoshima, and it's difficult for others to imitate it... There is a post office, and there are shrines and fishing ports hidden on side streets. If you go straight, you will enter Ejima Shrine. Does that mean it's an approach? By the way, the entire island of Enoshima is privately owned by Enoshima Shrine.

It just so happens that Japan has three consecutive holidays. There are so many people and there are long queues at every snack bar! The freshly made shrimp cakes are worth eating, but just share one slice between two or three people because it’s a bit salty at the end! It is recommended that you walk to the shrine. There is a small viewing platform next to it. You can overlook the beautiful view of the shopping street and bridge. It is beautiful when the weather is good!

It was my first time to go to Enoshima. I thought there would be a long shopping street, but it was unexpectedly short. It only takes about 20 minutes to walk around on non-weekends. There are not many shops and the products are not rich. I went there once. about there. The famous specialties of Enoshima include squid and seafood shrimp cakes. The shrimp cakes are quite good and worth buying. They taste much better than ordinary shrimp cakes.
