A sensational temple complex/pagoda that is most impressive in scale. Being almost deserted of visitors was a welcome surprise that added an eerie atmosphere.

Very impressive, vast temple area. It has like a little temple village with shops that were closed when I came. But you come for the temple, anyway. It is magnificent and I loved the music and smell of incense. The Pagoda can be ascended and gives a great view. The Japanese garden had great autumn colors.

Jaw-dropping grand temple complex. The largest Buddha statue I’ve ever witnessed, situated in the grand hall. Along with hundreds of accompanying buddhas squarely sprawled floor-to-ceiling along the adjacent walls. Five-storey pagoda and dragon ceramic art also quite unique and impressive.

A very big temple with a stunning giant buddha statue. Definitely a must visit when you are in the area. But watch out, it can get really bussy here.

This temple is surreal, it has a Game of Thrones vibe. The main temple has a giant Buddha and statues surrounding the building from floor to ceiling. The grand scale of the structure is incredible inside and out. The pagoda is huge and has its own elevator which is a plus. We visited when they first opened and the area was very thick with fog which gave it that surreal feel. Many of the businesses as you walk up were closed unfortunately. Parking is free and they have a goshuin stamp available.
