Daizoji Temple was founded in the name of Heian period shogun Sakanoue no Tamuramaro (758 ~ 811) at the foot of Bentenyama. It features a kannon statue crafted by famed Buddhist priest Gyoki.

One of the few places in Fukushima where you can use even public transportation. You can spend your time and enjoy natural beauty. It is in the vicinity of the city.

Beautiful Buddhist temple next to a waterfall. You can walk through the caves under the temple to see the Buddhist statues. There is a small cafe onsite where you can get tea, lunch and buy locally made gifts and souvenirs.

The caves were a cool break from the heat of the summer. The waterfall was one of the most beautiful parts of a temple I have seen all year. This complex is built into the mountain in a striking way. Gorgeous

Places are peaceful. I love this place very much. I went here for 4 times and soon to be here again this spring season.
