I visited this place because I heard it was famous for praying for safe childbirth. I don't really believe in fortune telling, so I watched the gender determination here just for fun. It was predicted that a girl would be born, and a girl was actually born. It's 1/2, so I think it's good enough for fun. I was also able to pay my respects.

The correct name is the Daigyoji Temple. Dedicated to painless childbirth, this temple is nice and peaceful. It has many flowers, ferns and trees which leads to a very relaxing environment. It is a very short walk from the Kamakura station

Beautiful peaceful place, with a lot more to see than expected from the entrance. Plenty of flowers, with well kept gardens and structures.
