I visited on a Sunday evening. There was an FM radio playing inside the temple grounds, so I thought to myself, ``This is a strange temple,'' but it turned out that they were playing it to avoid predators😅. The chief priest came out of the main hall and told me that I would no longer be able to see Kannon, so I went up to the main hall and worshiped. I received a goshuin stamp and ame-chan, and the friendly chief priest taught me about the colored Kokei Sansho carved into the transom that caught my attention. I wonder if it is called Oku Musashi Hydrangea Temple? . I would like to visit again.

The temple is located at the corner of Route 299 heading towards Chichibu from Hidaka. It has a large parking lot. It was easy to understand because there were explanations everywhere. It is a Soto sect temple. It contains the ideas of Dogen Zenji. I see! Even I understood that there are explanations everywhere, such as Karasuma Myoo, Idaten, Sho Kannon, Hokyoin Pagoda, Hattoku Sankichi, etc. It's a fun temple full of interesting things to see. Since it is said to be the sacred mountain of Nizan Hanno and the Seven Lucky Gods, I stopped by. The chief priest was also very easy to approach, and we talked to him about various things. It is famous for its hydrangeas, so I would like to go there again when they are in full bloom.

This is a temple with beautiful hydrangeas. The chief priest was also a friendly person and talked to everyone. The hydrangeas come in a variety of colors and are quite impressive to see. I think the best time to see them is from the end of June to mid-July. There are rest areas and toilets, so it's recommended for hydrangea lovers.

You can visit the Seven Lucky Gods. The parking lot is large. Bishamonten, who removes all disasters. There is a beautiful stamp. We recommend the Idaten-sama pottery ema! Leads to the purest heaven. The chief priest was very kind and I have fond memories of the stay.
