It's hard to find because of the grass, it's hard to get to, and it's not well known, but it's better to go. I thought it was Machu Picchu in Hakone.

Nationally designated cultural property Magaibutsu group and stone pagoda group along National Route 1 It is said that they were excavated sequentially from the late Kamakura period to the Muromachi period. It is a very valuable group of stone Buddhas, but you have to walk around to see them.It seems that they were made from the belief in Jizo Bodhisattva. The Rokudou Jizo is 3.2 meters high and is closed in a hall, but the person in charge of it (the person at the history museum) Apparently the doors are open from 9am to 10am. When I went to check it out, the door was closed (I always thought it was like that), so when I tried to leave, a manager happened to come and open it for me. I was really impressed. There are many Buddha statues scattered around this area, and I think they are valuable and should be better known.

A group of stone cliff Buddhas (many Jizo statues) excavated after the first year of Einin (1293). There seem to be 26 Bodhisattvas in all, and their common name is the 25 Bodhisattvas. Some of them are interesting as they have Sanskrit characters carved into them. Please note that the footing is rough so be careful not to fall.

There is a stone Buddha. Beside the national highway. Quiet for Hakone. Historical heritage around here.
