I went last year too and it was good (^.^) It's a pity that Illumi's octopus at the aquarium disappeared 🐙 This year's ball was more than a pageant of lights, so I went there with high expectations, but it was even better than last year✨ A group of J.K. was occupying the place, so the families around them were getting annoyed ↓ Surprise fireworks were the best🎆 I’m going again this year (●´ω｀●)

A place I stopped by after visiting Mt. Hiei and Omi Shrine. As expected, this is a hotel where the imperial family stayed, so although it is small, it is a wonderful building with a stately feel. The garden on the premises and the lawn in front of the restaurant are beautifully maintained and are the perfect place to relax. I had a waffle at the restaurant, and the plate was warm and the location was very elegant. How wonderful it would be to enjoy a beer garden and fireworks on this lawn on a summer night! It was tea time while I was imagining things.

Easy bike rental service. Old bikes but it worked to make the tour of Lake Biwa. Rent possible till 7pm.
