A huge public parks for people to relax and walk around. Beppu city does a great job to keep this place clean and organized. I hope residents enjoy this park. Not so many tourists.

A vey large park not too far from Beppu station. This park is divided into different areas, such as ume garden, little bamboo forest, playing ground, sakura garden, cycling area, and many others. On spring, you can picnic while enjoying the beauty of plum and sakura flowers in this garden. This park is also the best place to take your children to play or walk your dogs. Many older kids (junior and senior high) also love playing soccer and other sports here. You can even walk around the park to burn your calory--there's a measure for this. There's also a large pond with many benches around it. Sometimes, you can watch someone playing his violin in this park.

A very (surprisingly?) pretty park! Especially with the cherry blossoms blooming, it had some beautiful scenery. The bamboo grove area adds some nice variety too. Ideal for a walk around on a sunny spring day!

Large park in central Beppu. Has a kids park, bamboo forest and public toilets. Interesting fact about the bands around the trees, these collect bugs in the winter and are burnt in Spring to prevent tree disease. すばらし 公園

So beautiful. If you are a nature lover, it is a perfect place for you. You will feel like you are lost in nature. I went on February. So, I missed the cherry blossom. Still it was beautiful. During sakura, it will look more beautiful.
