A small museum with a rather mysterious style The inside looks more like a museum repurposed from the shell of the Ijin Museum, and the content is a bit more avant-garde. It is recommended that you buy a package ticket and then stop by for a visit.

There are many collections of animal horns, stuffed animals, and specimens of butterflies from around the world, giving it a unique atmosphere among foreign museums. The attached souvenir shop also sells sweets, goods, and other items that can only be obtained at Kobe Kitano Ijinkan. Admission fee is 550 yen for adults. This time I bought a 3-building pass for the British Pavilion and Ben's House for 1,400 yen (450 yen discount). Bundle tickets are also sold at the top of Kitanozaka. The three buildings are located side by side, making it easy to move around. All three buildings do not have restrooms, so please use the restrooms at the ``Rhine Hall'', which is located at the top of the stairs opposite Ben's house, as admission is free.

I visited around March 2021. It makes you feel like you're in a museum. I'm impressed when I see it, but people who don't like insects might not want to go there.

The third was Ben's house. An explorer might use to own it, thus we saw intensive stuffed animals like a polar bear, wolf, American bison and so on. It's like a compact natural museum.
