A symbolic, 125-meter-tall tower located on the grounds of the B-Con Plaza multipurpose complex situated along Fujimi-dori Street in Yamanote-cho, Beppu City. Outfitted with an observation deck 100 meters above the ground, visitors can get a 360-degree, panoramic view of Beppu City. The observation deck is also popular because of its night view, selected for inclusion in a list of Japan’s “Night View Heritages.”

Since the platform is incased in glass, it kind of feels like you're walking on top of the city. Parking was tricky. It's also cheaper than Beppu Tower, so I recommend going here instead.

Only 300 yen for entrance to a 125 m high tower enjoying the bird's-eye view of the city of Beppu! Wonderful!

The best place to see the whole Beppu from 100-meter high. The entry fee is surprisingly pretty cheap, only 300 yen per person. I came back here during onsen matsuri to watch the Ougiyama fire, and it was free!

Awesome place to get a bird's-eye view over Beppu and the harbour. Beppu park is just at the foot of the tower. Admission ticket costs 300 Japanese Yen for adults. The elevator stops at both platforms: 96 m and 100 m, but you can also use the stairs between them. I recommend going there at sunset, so you can get a night image of Beppu city as well. The Global Tower is designed as part of a building complex which hosts a famous convention hall.
