So many dolls and all the famous ones you see throughout Japan like Maneki Neko and Daruma all feature here in their various forms. It’s a long walk from the station but worth it.

Very unique shrine with lots of Ningyo. It was quiet when I visited there. The only downside is that it is a bit far from the station.

Bit spooky but cute shrine. There’s a tree trunk you crawl through to make your wish come true. They hold ceremonies to appease the souls of dolls. Maybe Chucky and Annabelle should be brought here😅

At the start of the Pacific Cycling Road, this shrine is an interesting experience. Surprises around every corner, it’s intriguing and a little spooky. If you are in the area it’s definitely worth spending time there. I went at 8am and there was nobody there.

Really special and rare place to visit in Wakayama, Osaka. There are plenty of dolls, lucky cats that make a holly sense
