Bring earphones if you don’t understand Japanese! Only non alcoholic beer if you arrive by bicycle. I enjoyed the tour thoroughly.

If you have 3+hrs to kill, might be worth checking it out. Otherwise, it's pretty far out of the way. Tours are required to taste, without a reservation you can only shop in their gift store. However, tours are only provided in Japanese and lasts 90mins so we did not think we would benefit from the tour. If you get there early, there's not much else around the area for you to kill some time in. I'd skip this and go to Sapporo museum instead.

Reserved in advance for our family of 6 with 2 adults and paid entry fee on the day. Children under 6 cannot experience the VR part but they are welcome to experience everything else. Tours are conducted in Japanese but you can download an app with Korean, Chinese or English virtual guide so be sure to bring head/earphones along. There’s also free lockers to put your belongings so you don’t have to carry them throughout the tour. Our tour guide was very cheerful and made sure everyone in the group was following along. The tour is very reasonably priced as it includes 2 beers plus a snack and a souvenir beer glass and also a ‘zero’ beer too! The facilities are super clean and easy to follow along. Our 4 year old was a little bored as she couldn’t understand Japanese but she enjoyed the free softdrink and snacks at the end of the tour. There was also a virtual ride that she enjoyed as well so it’s more the interactive parts she enjoyed. Adults in our group loved the tour.
