This park was quite possibly the most important part of my time in Tokyo. Taking a run, bringing the kids to play, walking my dog, playing with the other dogs, long walks, watching the seasons, feeling nature... So much physical and mental health from this amazing place. Thank you Arisugawa Park!

Arisugawanomiya Memorial Park. A quiet town in the southeast near Aoyama. Close to Hiro-o station and in the middle of the city center, it is a forested and well-managed park. It is not an ornamental park, but a very utilizable park by the residents around it. When I visited, the managers scraped the floor soil of the entrance pond and cleaned the water. Cute young children run around in the spacious yard, and on the wooden forest bench, local adults quietly chat and drink warm coffee in a thermos. The buds that herald spring were full of life. Countless lives relax in the small forests of the city center. It showed the true appearance of the park. 👍

Beautiful park in the autumn, you get to see the warm red foliage come to life. There are many artists painting amongst the peaceful garden. The grounds are well maintained, do check out the nice pond in the middle with overwater bridges, it makes for beautiful photos. Not too crowded on a weekday, you can takeaway food and snacks from the nearby grocer and bakeries. Many young families playing ball games too. An excellent place to relax and chill. Not too easy finding a trashcan though, so do keep your rubbish with you.

Had a quick walk in this park. Few mins away from hiroo station, very reachable. And what a surprise to see such a beautiful, well maintained, quiet & relaxing park in the middle of Tokyo. Definitely worths the time to visit & enjoy.

Nice tranquil park in the middle of residential area, which seems to be expat area. Buy some snacks and enjoy picnic in this quiet area.
